Makeover Possible

It’s amazing how far $300 {and a little re-organizing} can go . Just look at these mini-makeovers. Sure, 1/3 of a grand is only going to transform your living room by so much, but the difference is certainly noticeable and even aesthetically pleasing.

Rural Wedding

Beautiful photos of a rural New York wedding. If I could have done my wedding any differently, I’d do it like this — outdoors. {Sadly, November + outdoors = an impossible combination}.

Milk + Cookies

I would have never thought of hosting a Milk + Cookies themed baby shower. Wow, Brittany Gharring {her blog: Most Likely Late} is mad-talented. {Oh, and she’s only twenty…four.} I wish I knew how to plan cute + original parties like this! {Okay, parties in general.}

Viola + Vocals

I’m pretty out of the hipster-loop, being the 8-5 penny pusher, no-longer 21 years-old self that I am. So I’m probably 2 years late for just now stumbling upon uber-talented vioalist + singer, Anni Rossi’s music. And wow {!} –  girl is talented. {It’s so refreshing to see a vocalist using a viola as the instrument-of-choice. But I’m partial to the viola: I’ve played it from 3rd grade through the end of high school; and the viola’s mid-tone sounds are often overlooked and never quite gets the same musical attention as say, the violin or cello. And yes, the viola is different than the violin.} Seeing this makes me want to play again…

The Weekend

Hallelujah the weekend! And a three-day-er at that.  For the 85% of the country that’s suffering in the cold, stay warm!

The Weekend

The “holiday” time of year usually gets me frazzled! Crowded Target stores = anxiety attack. Hunting down elusive mint m&ms {my FAVE!} = anxiety attack. Glancing at my bank account at the end of the week = anxiety attack. But I still LOVE Christmas-time! The gift-giving, the foods, the smells, the decorations, even the weather.

Have a wonderful, not very stressful weekend! {BTW, only 20 more days ’til C-Day…}
