Gallery Wall
Can’t wait until I have a house of my own so that I can hang up framed photos and prints like this gallery wall. {View a lot more gallery wall inspiration here.}

{ Leave A Comment }Home + GardenI saw these on elements of design this morning and just had to post about them, too! These removable chalkboard metal sheets are ingenious! They’d go great in an office, or on a kitchen wall.
{ Leave A Comment }Home + GardenPlanning on buying some of these Eco-Bags reusable produce bags. Whenever I come home from grocery shopping I always end up with tons of those thin plastic bags {which I then recycle}. Not only can these Eco-bags hold fruits + veggies, but grains/rice as well. I already use the reusable shopping bags constantly, so these bags are a natural next step.
{ Leave A Comment }Home + GardenI was delighted to see Domo-Kun as the Halloween mascot at Target this past weekend.
For those of you who aren’t on a first-name basis with Domo, he’s been entertaining the Japanese viewing audience as the official mascot of a major network there. To me, he’s one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen– he actually makes me want to buy Target brand candy corn. It’s also nice to see something my mom introduced to me as a kid come full circle and back into the world again.
You’ve come a long way Domo…with pumpkins!
{ Leave A Comment }Home + Garden, Inspiration, KidsI love Madeline Weinrib’s cotton stripe rugs, I like the Ikea one better. It might be the price tag. It will be hard to talk my husband into buying this though, he calls it the “Beetlejuice rug” {read: that thing isn’t going in our living room}.
{ Leave A Comment }Home + GardenI suppose it’s not right that I now have Halloween on the mind. I know, it’s too early to be talking about such things; but Halloween takes place during my favorite time of the year: Autumn! So I can’t help but think of all the fun crafts, pumpkin-carving, chilly nights, apple cider… So to help me get ready, I’ve signed up for the Martha Stewart “Halloween Workshop“; first project starts Monday!
{ Leave A Comment }Crafts + Ideas, Home + Garden, Inspiration, KidsOver Labor Day weekend my husband and I {or, just my husband} finally {finally!!} got around to installing the West Elm capiz chandelier that we ordered …four…MONTHS ago. And sweet georgia brown, does it make a statement! It completely changed the lighting atmosphere in our bedroom from stale + dim to soft + inviting.

The Charles Eames hang-it-all coat rack, so mod and classic, so needed on my foyer wall. I’d love it even if I never put a single coat or jacket on it. It’s practically a work of art by itself.
It’s going to be really hard for me not to buy this print. The composition is interesting, and I like the detail. Lou’s prints are so surreal and dream-like.
