I’m an admiring fan of Joanna’s vases + creatures and now she has these new squirrel vases for sale on her etsy store, pretty random objects. Too cute! These would look adorable in a child’s room, or even on a fireplace mantel for the holiday season {especially with those berry branches!}.

I’ve always loved the subtle scent of lavender, especially on my bed linens and pillows — so relaxing! And now I can use these cute little Amy Butler fabric-covered flaxseed + lavender eye pillows, from Home Grown Pillows, for some extra R + R. {These would be great gifts for a mom/sister/friend for the holidays. Plus they are handmade!}

Whenever I meet an old friend or need to give someone my contact info, I am always scrambling to find 1) a pen, and 2) any scrap of paper I can write on. Most of the time I have to borrow the pen and rip off a corner of an old bill envelope hiding at the bottom of my purse. Wow, not very classy {and easily lost or mistaken for trash}. Well no more! I’ve placed a custom order on Etsy for these beauties {half with an image of an acorn, the other half with a tree}:

I’ve been loving the new Fall jewelry at J.Crew, but not loving their steep prices, especially for “gold-electroplated metal”. Imagine my surprise when I spotted a cheaper version of this bracelet on Etsy! Now if only someone can make an affordable version of the pine cone + squirrel bracelet…

This girl’s outfit is wonderfully put-together: the wool blazer {similar to this}; the scarf {similar to this}; and the hat {similar to this}! And the glove-over-sweater combo is brilliant! I’m going to  have to find some black 3/4 length leather gloves now…

It’s going to be really hard for me not to buy this print. The composition is interesting, and I like the detail. Lou’s prints are so surreal and dream-like.

Aren’t these the cutest toadstool mushrooms? They’d look great on my office desk…on my nightstand…in some potted plants… hopelessly lost within a mid-80’s video-game castle… Okay, they’d look cute practically anywhere.
