What a whirlwind holiday season! Still feeling a bit of a pre-Christmas-through-New Year {or just all of December} metaphoric hangover. It’s no wonder I completely missed these gems from Eternal Child’s autumn/winter 2008 collection. Onward and upward with grandma chic!

Bring on the {Scottish tartan} plaids! Love the eccentric mix of plaids this guy is sporting, especially the three-piece suit. Reminds me of Daniel Day Lewis — that man can wear no wrong.

Update: Sigh. Kind of disappointed about what I’ve seen so far of the Alexander McQueen “McQ” line for Target. I hope the rest of the line is less Forever 21 tween…and um, more like Alexander McQueen.

Perfectly feminine outfit from an equally beautiful Melbourne girl. I love everything she’s wearing {even the yellow skirt, a color which I usually cannot stand}. Of course it’s spring time down-under, so can’t really wear this in the northern hemisphere right now…well maybe with a cashmere cardigan, scarf, and some black opaque tights.

Praise the Target gods — the Alexander McQueen will be working with Target! Not part of the GO International line however, but part of a “Designer Collaborations” line… perhaps similar to the deal Target made with Mizrahi? One can dream.

Yay! New images of the Thakoon for Target’s GO International line! I like what I see so far, just wish it wasn’t so resort/summer driven; especially since the clothes debut in mid-December. But I’m sure my wallet will find a way to buy a few pieces nonetheless…

Check out Charlotte Ronson’s new line for JCPenney. {She also has her Play by CRonson line at Urban.} Cool designer clothes at more affordable price points. Love the colors, stripes, and layered sweaters… Not bad, right? {Even though cheaper + faster fashion = not so great for the environment…}
