Nebulous Skies
It’s like a Christmas laser-light show in the sky! A more nebulous, cerebral, sci-fi version, but still mesmerizing. Can you believe these aurora borealis/australis {”northern/southern lights”} actually occur on planet Earth? Pretty freaking awesome. {Seeing this in person is something I’ve always wanted to do and is definitely on my “life: to do” list.}

Seeing this in person is also very high on my “life: to do” list (I love that name, and while I don’t take to the slew of impersonal “things to do before…” lists, I obsess over my own). I’m not entirely sure of the logistics of it all. If you figure it out, let me know!

Kate, thank you for your kind words. For a really interesting and nerdy read on the logistics of aurora borealis/australis go here, the Geophysical Institute. As for the logistics of someday viewing these beauties, well…I’ll keep you posted!
