Inception
It’s not often I get excited to go see a movie {Husband, on the other hand, is a movie/film.o.phile}, but wow, Christopher Nolan’s work reels me in every time. And Inception doesn’t disappoint: it’s complex, ambiguous, smart, with mesmerizing visuals, and a captivating storyline. And let’s be real here, how often does something intellectually original like this come about these days? {Movie critics: there are plenty of other movies (Sam Mendes) to get pretentiously snobby about.}

Glad we completely agree on this. I think I wet my pants at least twice in the theater. So good… (To clarify, I wet myself once because of the amazingness of the film, and once because of the length.)

What I love most about your comment, Courtney, is how it harkens my memory back to the day when I made you laugh so hard {in the old Savemart parking lot} you literally … blanked your pants. Literally. What we talked about is no longer of importance {because I can’t remember what it was} but my proud accomplishment will be told to my progeny until it becomes legendary.

Also, I cannot stop singing the praises of this movie — LOVED. IT. And Hans Zimmer did a superb job with the music composition {esp. the “Time” piece at the end}. Is it weird that I want Cobb’s totem? {Yeah, that sounded wrong, but you know what I mean}.

Yeah I can’t remember what the joke was, but I definitely remember the experience of trying to drive home with severe wetness difficulties. Good times.

And your little ‘totem’ comment. I about had to change the undies again… Maybe I should see a doctor?
