Vintage China
I have a soft spot (vulnerable obsession?) with vintage China wares. Plates, saucers, teacups, platters… My collection is small and eclectic (nothing matches and no full sets), but I would love to expand with some of these I found on etsy:
$7 for two {vintage goodies}
$8 for five! {vintage goodies}
$7.50 for two Homer Laughlin dessert plates {Kitchens of 1956}
$48 for six Paris salad plates {Eddie Ross!}
Light{er} Comfort Food
Reading Jordan’s post about homemade chili {okay, maybe just glancing at the photo she used} was enough to entice me to make it for dinner tonight. I found a “lighter” {goodbye gluttonous holiday season comfort foods!, for now} chili recipe online, via Martha.

What a whirlwind holiday season! Still feeling a bit of a pre-Christmas-through-New Year {or just all of December} metaphoric hangover. It’s no wonder I completely missed these gems from Eternal Child’s autumn/winter 2008 collection. Onward and upward with grandma chic!
