Indoor Party

I wish I thought of this festive Halloween spread for my quaint dinner “party” last week. {Note to self: mentally file this for next year.} The simplicity of sticking to just two color schemes {black + white} and the cluster of glass apothecary jars makes this set-up more visually appealing. {This also looks pretty do-able…}

    Okay, after I saw this post this morning, I snuck out and ran to Michael’s on my break (my 15 minutes that turned into 45, whoops) and bought 3 apothecary jars. LOVE THEM. I have no idea what to do with them, but I love them. haha

    Haha. I l-o-v-e apothecary jars. I only have 2, but want more {especially the covetous bell jar}. I suppose it’s lust, because I don’t really know what to do with them either. I think I’m satisfied {crazy} in knowing that I have apothecary jars.

    I put colored sand in mine, the bigger jars I places buttons or beades depending on the look I am going for. One I even filled with tiny glow in the dard spiders with the spiders webbing stuffed into it. They came our realy nice. I love my jars!!!

    Wow, glow in the dark spiders? That’s a great idea! I’ll have to try it out. :-)

    Today I did a search for apothecary jars and found my dining room. This is my home a few years ago. I’m not sure how the pictures ended up on your blog but I’m happy to share. I love your blog. I use sticks every year and spray them black. They are free and give a great spooky feel. Enjoy:)

    Hi Tina! Sorry for posting your lovely photos without going through the proper channels (ie, contacting you). This was back when I was a naive blogger (still am) and so I apologize.
